Congratulations to our 7th Grade Girls Basketball team on advancing to the Championship Game of the Route 72 Tournament. They will play Winnebago on Tuesday, March 5 at 5:15. In addition, our 8th grade team will play for 3rd/4th at 4:00. Both games are at PMS. GO INDIANS

"The Principal and The Pea", a 2nd Grade Concert, was fun and light-hearted. The students performed their concert in the Pecatonica High School Commons on Tuesday, February 13, 2019. The performance was well orchestrated and high energy. The melodic and sometimes humorous songs entertained the audience and they laughed and enjoyed the children’s presentation all through the evening. Congratulations 2nd graders and Ms. Durand, the Pecatonica Elementary School music teacher, for a lovely time. Happy 100th Day of School. Mrs. Wanke's class had lots of fun dressing up as elderly students. One old-young man had a walker. They look great!

Mrs. Laue's class has been busy celebrating 100 days of school today! We read 100 books, did 100 exercises, ate 100 peices of snack and more!

The boys basketball game at Amboy will be played today as scheduled. Academic Bowl vs Dakota has been rescheduled for Monday, February 25, at 4:00 pm

Due to the cancellation of school all middle school activities are cancelled for Tuesday February 12th. This includes 7th and 8th grade girls basketball practices and 6th grade girls basketball game vs Winnebago. In addition no wrestling practice. Stay safe!

The boys basketball game vs Freeport Aquin has been rescheduled for Monday, February 4. 6:00 FS start with varsity to follow. by Kevin Kunkel

The girls basketball senior night game has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 2, at 11:30 am. This will be a varsity only game. There will not be a FS game prior to the Varsity. We will honor the seniors starting at 11:00 am and start warm ups after that. by Kevin Kunkel

Congratulations to senior Alyse Southard as she becomes one of the few Lady Indian basketball players to reach 1,000 points in her varsity career in a game versus Aquin on January 17th.

The Pecatonica CUSD #321 is proud to congratulate one of our amazing teachers, Dawn Lucas, who has been teaching in our District for 25 years as of January 10, 2019! Ms. Lucas has taught most of the grade levels at the elementary school including special education and early childhood. She noted that recently she has began teaching her previous students' children, and her own two children now attend the middle school. She is deeply rooted in our community and in our hearts! We appreciate her love and humor, friendship, commitment to education, and look forward to many more years with our District. Thank you for your 25 years of dedication and service!
